Another year at the Lorca Health Fair, bringing healthy eating closer to children

Once again, at Cricket we did not want to miss one of the most important events focused on healthy eating and family well-being: the Lorca Health Fair. In 2025, the fair celebrated its 18th edition, consolidating itself as a key meeting point for the promotion of healthy habits among the population, especially children.

As in previous editions, we were joined by our gastronomic ambassador, Pablo González Conejero, a two Michelin-starred chef, who led a fun and tasty cooking workshop for children. The aim was to bring vegetables closer to younger audiences in a playful, educational, and engaging way.

During the workshop, the children prepared an original pizza made with a cauliflower flour base, adding ingredients such as broccoli, tomato, turkey, cheese, and olives. An easy and enjoyable way to incorporate vegetables into their diet, while also encouraging creativity in the kitchen.

As a keepsake, all the children received a chef’s hat and a Cricket apron, so they can continue cooking at home and feel like the stars of their own recipes. In addition, boxes of broccoli hummus and sticks made from the vegetable’s stem were handed out, showing that in healthy cooking nothing goes to waste and everything can be transformed into something tasty and nutritious.

At Cricket, we remain committed to promoting a healthy, varied, and fun diet for children, firmly believing that educating the palate from an early age is key to building long-lasting habits. Thank you to everyone who shared this day with us. See you at the next edition!
